Dear Journeys’ Families, Golfers, and the Greater Portland Community:

Journeys of the Heart Adoption Services (JOH), a nonprofit agency, has been building families through adoption for over 15 years. It is Journeys’ goal to provide, through adoption, loving and permanent homes. To the children of the world who are deprived of this right JOH provides support through the Love the Children Fund (LTC).

JOH is proud to announce the launch of The Oregon Golf Link-Up For Kids, benefiting the agency and the LTC. For the first time, JOH is broadening the annual golf fundraiser to encourage community participation, with activities for all families, children and golfers on Saturday, August 11, 2007.

We have designed a day for people that want to help children. We will gather in a relaxed, family environment, with fun activities for all ages.

Golfers will enjoy a beautiful 18-hole scramble at the scenic Stone Creek Golf Course in Oregon City, Oregon. The 18-hole event brings together foursomes of all levels with a love for the game of Golf. The tourney will bring together people with common interests for informal social networking.

In addition, this year JOH will unveil a fun filled children’s putt-putt golf activity including prizes for all participants.

The evening will conclude with a fresh and seasonal sunset dinner for the entire family, a silent auction, and a raffle.
